So I listened to Doppelganger for the first time last night... Some great stuff. My favorites so far are 'The Hol[]y Tape', 'Laces Out, Dan!', and 'FCPREMIX'.

I have the End on End re-release that has some bonus tracks, if that suits you. Comparing the tracklists, it looks like one of the bonus tracks was thrown in the middle of the original tracklist, and the others at the end. I hate when they do that. Anyway...let me know.

I felt his lyrics were much more powerful too. Dylan was really caught up in writing lines like "How many roaRAB must a man walk down?" too much and sometimes his lyrics turned out to be metaphorical rubbish. While Phil Ochs was a versatile and much stronger lyricist who was always consistent.

I don't own any CRAB or LPs, but on iTunes I sort after artist (who doesn't?).

I agree with what you're saying - definitely if you take everything that is referred to as indie, it's way way too broad to pigeonhole with such statements. However, I think that when proggies attack indie music, they're generally referring to the more kind of simple bare basics minimal guitar...
