Yep, apparently it's a big hit over in China. I had to import my copy from Korea. Sometimes you can catch it on TCM. I can't believe I forgot Rebecca! One of my absolute favourite films!

i think mel gibsons performances r excellent. he gets so much emoticon and hype into his films. i also think hugh jackman is good i dont like many of john travoltas films, but the ones i do like r awesome

It was much better than I expected it to be, especially with the slating it's got from all the film critics.

I'm a massive Star Wars fan, and I don't have a problem with it either. It's a huge cultural thing, and a massively influential series of films. If I didn't get what the fuss was about, I'd want to know if I were alone too. So.. The Matrix. what's the point of that, then? ;)

The ending in "The Boy with the Striped Pyjamas" - very powerful indeed.

Its very much a film about the role of women in the upper classes back in the time of Georgiana. It's a sad film but I wouldn't class the ending as entirely sad exactly. It's a little more compliated than that. One thing does annoy me though, the historical accuracy is not particlarly good...

Maybe my question was a bit stupid, but aren't they sometimes more relaxed on some films than others about how old people are?

I enjoyed Moon, Rockwell was superb and the story was deep & intriguing.

It sounds like its from Office Space, but that might've been inspired by some urban myth, i don't know. Also, while I'm 100% never going to donate to PtP in the future (would never have either way), I don't see why I should want to walk away from my account. It's close to being disabled...

"The Last Man on Earth" follows the book reasonably closely. "The Omega Man" is damaged by becoming an action movie halfway through and "I Am Legend" should've been called "Invasion of the Point Missers".:)

I don't think Chicago is underated by fans of musicals but it may be by other people not because it isn't good but because of unfamiliarity. The other films have been around for decades. Many people grew up with them so are familiar with them. I'm sure you could list a lot of non-musical films...
