"Gurren Lagann" On Sci-Fi's Ani-Monday Block - Talkback *MAJOR SPOILERS*

What did we learn? That Rossiu is a fool, putting crisis management ahead of addressing the threat. What's more important, appeasing the masses with a scapegoat or saving their lives? Or does he think that his brain will compensate for the lack of humanity's savior? Of course, we all know this...

The problem is slipknot is they have boring repetitive riRAB with a terrible singer and they cater to goth posers with their silly shock tactics.

    The Official Tool Thread

^^^^ I agree. The bass is the only thing you could ever use to coax me into re-listening to a Tool album. The vocals and lyrics are definitely their weak point.

    Zoku Natsume Yuujinchou

Episode 09 i also agree. It was a bit sad/nostalgic feeling to it but was really nothing much to the episode. I agree Natsume contemplating telling his secret was probably the most important thing of the episode. Oh well, here's hoping to a better episode next week.

    Avenged Sevenfold

Corrected me? right. You don't have to explain to me how you can be childish, I picked that up some time ago. You should listen to more metal if you think this band is anything special. I would rather delegate my A7X listening to someone who likes them. I'm merely speaking from past experience...

Sepultura - an analytical assessment (sort of)

First listening light analysis of Sepultura: Morbid Visions Morbid Visions - like Hell Awaits with Chuck Schuldiner doing vocals. Very cool and fast, but not particularly distinctive and severely lacking in the solo department. Mayhem - badly out of time, and very similar to Morbid Visions...

Am I Really The Only One?

Nirvana - still like them, great band Oasis - listening to one of their albums really was the most boring musical event of my life Modest Mouse - pretty good band, nothing "wrong" with them, just never listen to them anymore. Metallica - never cared for them, but I haven't really heard a lot...

    The Fall of Troy

They have a new album coming out called Phantom on the Horizon which is a concept album about the band each playing a character in the album. Thomas is a captain of a ship that runs into a "ghosthip" from another dimension and all hell ensues. And im insanely excited about this album..like you...

1982 The Wall is it original?

There are certain things that were re-recorded or remixed for the movie but not too much. There are a couple of songs that are sung by Bob Geldof instead of Roger Waters (I believe "Empty Spaces" is one) for example. Also the version of "Mother" that's in the movie is pretty different from the...

    Bad voice performances

Barbara GooRABon as Kitsune (Love Hina) - They turned a rather sly, subdued, performance into a blustering southern belle that was completely opposite to the character. It completely turned her likability around. Mika Kikuchi as Arika (Mai-Otome) - You know something's wrong with a character's...
