Somebody on another board compiled this handy dandy list of metal albums that are coming out in 2006. There don't seem to be any release dates at the moment though which is a bit annoying. If anyone has any additions to this list then post them here and I'll see that they get added.

Personally, I find that I disagree with many of the ratings on the IMDB. Have a read of the reviews on the RAB site and you'll see quite a few people who liked it. We're all different and have different tastes and expectations (thankfully!)
