I agree it looks amazing still. For instance, the Spinners flying over the city spewing massive flames into the rain sodden night sky has a tangible, believable feel to it that CGI cannot ever reproduce and the Japanese "wails" from the advertising blimp creates a rather haunting atmosphere.

Maybe your socks are too tight in that area. Try wearing socks without elastic. That might help.
