I half agree there. That is probably the most creepy part of the film. But its more creepy than scary, threr are few moments in the film where you jump out of your seat. BTW, a little off topic, but 'The Last Broadcast' is a good film, has a few similarities to TBWP.

What gets my goat is the film started at 2.30ish, and the guy only watched 20 minutes of it and gave an instant opinion without watching it through. Anyway, Superman II is one of my favourite films ever since seeing it as a child, and it's a film I never tire of watching.

I find this quite an odd remark. He must not have seen the other three as homosexuality is handled with humour and without sterotyping. I can't think of the charachter's name but the black bloke in the previous three, who is obviously a closet gay, is not sterotyped and any gay jokes are funny...

Best show I've seen was Suicidal Tendencies and Napalm Death.. mind you that was in 1991. Tons of energy from both banRAB back then.. now it's some 14 years later and I think they've slowed down a bit lol.

Was really looking forward to this channel appearing on telewest, Then ultimately let down when it did, a majority of it is crap, only decent film they've had since I've had it is Creepshow 2..It's as dodgy as the "scifi" channel.

An average of 7.5/10 on IMDB and just about every mainstream critic suggests overwise.Everybody I watched it with laughed throughout. Don't get me wrong;it's not "intelligent comedy",perhaps too soppy and the score is awful,but it's very funny IMO.

This is a classic film that shouldn't be remade. I don't know about you, but watching Nicholas Cage burning to death inside a wicker effigy will probably be more amusing than disturbing.
