    No decent films!!

Another film to look out for is "The Hoaxer". Not sure when it'll be released here, but it's really very good - about a hoax biography of Howard Hughes.

    Internet DVD rental

I really like lovefilm, and thier customer services department have been more than helpful to me in the past 3 months. It's a great service which is relitavely cheap considering the wealth of DVRAB they stock. Also, I've been really luck in that 95% of the time I get my top 3 choices. If I get...

Does anyone have the UK DVD of Stephen King's I.T ?

Can you tell if in the beginning when the little girl sees IT do you see the monster dragging her away or is it the same old version we always see were it shows the mother screaming before cutting to the wheels on the bike spinning? I could describe other scenes but since that is right at the...

    Fav soundtrack ??

Oh Brother Where Art Thou? Superb score - pity it wasn't actually George Clooney singing it! Loved both the Kill Bill soundtracks as well- Tarrantino has a knack for choosing the best songs to go with his work and it really payed off here.

    The Deer Hunter

I don't find Walken's acting disappointing, but I do find him over-rated. I don't think he's any better in this than he is in A View to A Kill! I've never understood the hype about him, but there you go. As for the film, it's long, slow paced, it's not exactly action packed, but it reflects...

The Strangers - Anyone Else Dislike This?

I really enjoyed it. I don't see it as being because they couldn't come up with another storyline it was just to add to the fact it was nothing more than a random attack on a couple.

    who is your favourite batman?

There is no way this could be a continuity error. It was probably either because Batman didn't look right talking in Wayne's voice, or the oft-stated idea that the voice is part of who the character becomes when he is in the suit. Go back and watch the opening sequence of the 1989 Batman.

Good British films set in high school?

There's "The Hole" with Thora Birch and Keira Knightley. Not sure I would classify it as a good film though.
