    Mad Men.

I think TiffanyThorne was probably referring to the quote by Jonn Hamm (Don Draper!) when he was interviewed on the red carpet by Amazon.com :) Mad Men does seem to be set in such a different world depite almost - I was born in '62! - being in my life time, so I kinda know what he means. ("The...

    BBC2 Horror Double Bill

Some other watchable 1970's horror movies are Burnt Offerings,Let's Scare Jessica To Death and The Car.I haven't see the influential 1960's movie - Carnival of Souls shown on TV in quite some time. I'd love to see BBC2 do a weekly horror double bill, but I think Film 4 would be a better...

Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince

Cool pictures :) and yep having some flashbacks are good. I agree to have them all would be boring and i think would make the film too slow so i can see why they have cut some of them.

    gallbladder polyps

If it was me, I would see another surgeon and request another sonogram or scan of the gallbladder. The first surgeon may be right, however, when it is my body I do not want to wait 6 months.

    alternative to port 6346?

So it's outgoing connections to port 6346 that don't make it? By default, firewalls don't restrict that port for outgoing connections, so I'd rather look a bit further than the firewall to your Internet provider. Are you on a campus? I noticed a lot of sysadmins at universities are blocking...

    Missed "100 Greatest Standups"

Have to agree with that. 4 hours and 5 minutes for this. My first thought was why not split it over two nights but after seeing it and some of the "time and effort" put into some of the acts then it could have easily been the top 25 or 30 with a decent segment on each.

LoveFilm are getting on my t*ts

Giving a company credit where credit's due isn't anything to be ashamed of, even if you're not impressed with other aspects of what they do. We may not agree on certain things, but I respect you for comments like that.
