Death in Venice - sat through this piece of tosh thinking there had to be a plot to it in the end. I was wrong. Having subsequently looked it up in Halliwell's film guide, found that it said "possibly the most overrated film of all time...." - I really should check these guides BEFORE watching...

Saw it last night and really enjoyed it. RDJ was excellent. Good supporting cast, too. Bring on the sequels, I say.

I have jsut come back froma trip to poland with an organisation and thought it was appropiate after watching "The Pianoist" to watch "SHindlers list" ALthough its a long film which really has put me off it was really good and i could understand what had happened to them and it was really sad and...

I can well remember the conversations about how 'cool' this film looked a year ago, how everyone was raving about it etc. Jeez. I know it wasn't meant to be taken seriously, but it looks and feels like a mid 70's silly monster movie in every respect...and not in a good way. Snakes biting...

You have to see it on a big screen. Love it or hate it the level of bonkers psychedelia on display in Speed Racer simply won't translate to the living room.
