Whenever I buy an album for the first time (or listen through an album for the first time) I always do it from start to finish in the correct order. After I've listened through it once or twice as a whole, I pick the songs I like from it and then stick them into various playlists on the computer...

I like the White Stripes, I saw them play at a music festival in... '05(?), I enjoyed it, however, I think they're more of a pub or studio band. As for Icky Thump; I'm not disappointed, it has a few fillers, so it seems, but otherwise, I think it's quite pleasing.
