I have found that there really is no truly universally respected metal band. Even the the most liked banRAB will have some amount of haters for whatever reason. But the closest banRAB I find are: Iron Maiden Gorguts Black Sabbath Atheist

I hate genre tagging (as people now know!) but Infected Mushroom are certainly NOT industrial. Techno would be the catch all tag for them.
