I was never a big fan of most grunge, but Nirvana came from a much more punk background than most grunge banRAB. Nirvana are certainly not a "punk rock" band though.

As I mentioned in the other Jimi Hendrix board, I like: Littlw Wing Purple Haze All Along the WAtchtower Drifting Angel One Rainy Wish Voodoo Child (slight return) and more. I liked how he didn't stick to one genre of music. It allowed me to appreciate other styles of music :)
