i know - just listened to a bit of Harry and the Potters on youtube and have to say i prefer the Remus Lupins and the Moaning Myrtles. Severus and the Snape's are ok as well although they are more wizardtronic!

I cant even remember the first time i saw it, its just one of those films that i have grown up with and always seemed to be on. I love them, one and two more then three. But still a fab trillogy.

According to John Hurt, he wasn't around that much. Not that Hurt had much nice to say about making the film at all. And yes.. those bloody gophers had Lucas's sticky prints all over them.

I think itunes and hollywood should be very thankful for women otherwise things would be very bad for them by now.

I'm hoping the footloose remake keeps stuttering to the point they can't do it. I don't really get remakes if I want to see the film I'll find the original although I did like Hairspray. Back to The Future just would not work. Also can you imagine a remake of Grease that would be wrong, Dirty...

It works in that the supernatural stuff was a pastiche of 1930s adventure serial. Indy is now in the 50s, and as such the 'It Came from Outer Space' pastiche is what it's all about. It worked for me. If I recall, an early (like ten years ago) version of the script was even called Indiana Jones...

For me they have. I used to like about 10 films per year, now I'm lucky if one comes out that I enjoy. When I posted in the 'Your favourite films of the decade' thread I struggled to think of five. Every so often a movie comes out that captures my imagination but they are becoming few and far...
