As someone who's been following anime for 20 some odd years, I think they'll have a mini surge again in a decade or so. In the 70s there was a surge of anime on US TV before levelling off. In the 80s, there was a spike in anime on US TV before levelling off for a few years, and in the 90s there...

First episode was good at setting up the tone, looks like pretty much an all female cast...not that i'm complaining. :P I thought it was funny that Chouun's cat pin changed expressions whenever she did.
