Last album you bought or downloaded

I just bought "Pure" and "Exile" by Gary Numan to replace my very worn first cd's from him and "The Last Sucker" by Ministry. I am disappointed that this is Ministry's final release although Al has so many side projects. It's not like this is goodbye!!

What band got you really into music

I love it when my threaRAB get bumped. Nice. I was constantly exposed to music as well and definitely had a "musical ear" so to say, but it remained a passing interest until I was in middle school when I discovered the Pumpkins. It turned from admiring a nice tune here and there to not...

    The Loudness Wars

Well there is a physical limit to what the ear can hear, there is also a limit to what the speakers can handle. Personally if you pop in a 20 year old CD then a new one the new one is louder.

    Albums You're Digging II

I dunno. It just sounRAB to straight out of the garage to me. Although to be fair I'll give it another try tonight, since I've only heard it 2-3 times and that was about a year ago (last winter).

An album a year for each year you are alive

You was slightly disappointed with it when it first came out?! WHAT?! Well at least you came to your senses and realised it's a brilliant album in the end  I suppose it's just like an album coming out today - expectation, rumours about how good it is, and whatever is on the record it...

Where do you get your music/music information?

When I like a band, I check out it's influences, and contemporaries. Randomly sifting through the internet and randomly taking suggestions. I expose myself to the widest variety possible, and stick with what I like most. I never EVER let the music media in any form effect me. I rarely read a...

My English teacher saw them live back in '04 and said Cedric's mic fucked up halfway through a song, after which he got pissed and said something along the lines of the venue they were at being the worst he'd ever played at. And that video brought the lulz.

What ever happened to Music Era's

Well first of all, an era is not a genre, it's a period of history. In the case of music sometimes a particular musical style or genre is so prevalent that it is used to define a period of history, that is where we get phrases such as The big band era, which is probably the most common use of...
