I'd say probably not. If you have 0 experience on a bike I would start out on no more than 500cc on a sport bike. Cruiser/standard type a 600 may be OK. Sport bikes are very sensitive to your inputs (IMO) a bit heavy on the throttle will move you in ways you didn't intend to move.
