did anyone catch 'audition' on shriek week on ch4?

No, it was 'Audition' as it says in the title of this thread. I was also sort of half watching it while doing something else and couldn't quite work out what was going on. I noticed a horrific foot severing moment.

    27 Dresses

Just come back from seeing this and I loved it!! Probably not to everyones tastes but its not as tedious as a lot of chick flicks, it was really funny in parts and I really warmed to Katherine Heigl's character. I'd recommend it, even if you're not a huge chick flick fan, as I found it...

    Johnny Depp Highest Paid Actor

I've liked Johnny Depp much less in his more recent films. He seems to play one note caricatures instead of characters these days, and it's getting boring. To me anyway.

    Pride & Prejudice

Yes of the versions made for TV and the Cinema Colin Firth is the best Darcy. However if you read the book would Firth be the best actor to reflect Jane Austen's original Darcy? I think not.

CN open sign up by invite application !!!

It's more like kinda hyped. And that turned out to be good for the tracker, just looking at their growth content wise. Don't really know if a minority of the members are holding all the content, but it's a pretty nice number of alive torrents.

    Daybreak, First Day in, Improvement?

I had never heard of The Peter Principle before today. Interesting and it seems to hold true of the entire ITV network.

    Dark knight DVD-cuts?

That could very well happen. Christopher Nolan said only one full scene was cut and that was after the Joker leaves the Penthouse party and gets in his waiting car. The rest of the stuff was just little bits of dialogue here and there but they weren't actual scenes. If you watch through the TV...

Gnutella protocol kills MS Winsock Proxy

Does anyone have any idea why using any Gnutella client will hose the MS Winsock Proxy? I have found this problem going all the way back to the v0.56 Gnutella client. Some clients take longer to crash the Proxy. For instance, the Gnotella client, and some earlier versions of BearShare would...

Harry Potter 6 is a LETDOWN!!!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who felt it was a letdown! All my frienRAB enjoyed it but I'm afraid I didn't particularly.. Half Blood Prince was my favourite book so expected it to be a good film but alas  For me, Slughorn was the biggest disappointment.. Nothing like the Slughorn I was...
