    I can't agree with that. Listening to Baha Men (which I did as a child) didn't open up doors for me to listen to what I listen to today. In some ways it slowed me down, as I stuck to cheesy Pop songs for ages.

    not me. i really, really hate it. Skye (of Morcheeba) was like that too. she wanted everybody to sing all the time. so disappointing. and when i saw Gilmour a few years back this guy behind me sang along the whole time, i wanted to strangle him.

    I like listening to rap that's about life in the ghetto, drive bys, slanging crack and how it sucks bad to live in those conditions. I don't like the rap thats about how much money the rapper has or how many cars he owns. So far BIG and Nas are the only two that keep it that way.
