Generally if they total your car they'll pay you it's value and then haul it off for parts. You usually don't get to keep a car that's listed as "totaled" nor would you want to as insuring it would be hell. How do you insure a car that has no inherent value? Once it's totaled it's value is...

My first bike was a 1963 Honda 305 Super Hawk that I bought for $300 when I was 15 years old. I looked exactly like this one below. It is still a good looking bike.

I guess there are two seats: a neoprene wrapped seat, and a neoprene foam pad. Ducati is going to stop making one (the neo pad I think, correct me if I'm wrong) with the other being the more streetable of the two. Does anyone have a definitive part number for the neoprene wrapped seat?

I have a silly question. I have always used simple car wash and wax to clean my bikes and of course end up with the tell tale white wax crap in all the nooks and crannies of my fairings and the like. Pray tell, what do people use when they detail a bike to keep it free of any wax debris?

I agree with you that, if possible, I'd rather get the latest revision which is -08A but I found a -08 in as new condition at an attractive price, that's why I'd like to know what the differences are. I don't think the mods between the 2 versions are dramatic though.
