I saw the Ska is Dead tour in Orlando - Voodoo Glow Skulls, Mustard Plug, The Toasters - good stuff, but it was on a Wednesday so I was half asleep at school the next day.

So wait, Shadow Games are pretty different here in GX. I mean sure the whole life and soul on the line thing still remains but the evil black cloud/Shadow Realm (for the dub) surrounding them is no longer present. It just looks like a normal duel but the damage (and monsters too?) are real.

Beach House - Teen Dream I'm thrall to this album at the moment. The haunting reverb-heavy vocals, gorgeous guitar lines, piano and touches of organ create a feeling of timelessness and melancholy reminiscent of My Morning Jacket's 'It Still Moves' album. It feels like a long lost classic rather...

Thanks alot!

Yay, indie.

print screen it, and i just crop it with photoshop. im not sure how else it can be cropped though.

Not my favorites, but most important to me. 1. Nevermind - Nirvana This is the first CD I ever owned. That's why I can't ever review this album objectively, because it brings me back to elementary school on the bus, listening to it on a sh*tty walkman that skipped all the time with crappy...

Yeah it's sad really, I think a lot of people are unaware. Hopefully that'll change for some.

ive heard a few songs by these guys and i think theyre pretty cool. anyone have any thoughts on them? also i cant really dicide what to classify them as.

I didn't no. I'm still thinking it would be a good idea I just need to pull my finger out. I tried to do one for someone once and I spent so long over it, deciding what to put in it, what live version of a certain song I should put in it and deliberating over every little detail that by the time...

so hungry...

My father's a Yes-man and I was surprised - he's got virtually the same taste as you. When I went to borrow his Close to the Edge album to rip it onto my computer, he told me that it wasn't nearly as good as Relayer or Fragile.

Haha. Yeah, I think Echo was the drum machine or something.

i never use the cd player any more because i just hook up my ipod to the aux port but...the albums ive been listening to lately on the road are.. See You On The Other Side by Korn Swan Songs by Hollywood Undead

For smaller banRAB, downloading music has meant more people will hear their music and buy the album. I also enjoy byuing CRAB from these sort of artists, as the product itself is often hand-made/decorated. In an era of CD-covers designed in 30secs on some PC program, I love this personal touch...

Agreed.

I love Lou Reed, brings back memories of first year at Uni. Most influential in my opinion is James Brown. He took the soul and gospel music of the day and transformed it, influencing many artists in many different genres to this day. :) It's interesting how gospel music was so inspiring...
