Rocky Horror Picture Show:
Susan Sarandon steps back with her spiked high heels, right on to Barry Bostwick's foot. You can clearly see Bostwick wince, but the scene kept rolling and its in the film.
Spielberg always has a shooting star in the background on night sky shots, such as Jaws when Quint is on the ramp after the first barrel chase.... Indiana Jones has a few.
Manly the action/adventure films he has done......
I think my all time worst has to be the Irish accents in Far and Away (Tom and Nicole what were you thinking) closely followed by Julia Roberts in Michael Collins, she ruined that whole film for me, it's supposed to be the life story of an Irish legend and all i did was sit cringing at how awful...
i cant wait for this, it looks great, a film hasnt looked this good in a long while, also QT directs a part in the film, so that bit should be good enough on its own!
Thanks for that - will check it out. It is something that has been puzzling me since I first watched it in 1987...
I have seen RITY - or at least parts of it - on youtube and it is very interesting - the RNRY with an Irish slant. I also found the 1975 episode very moving with the appearance of...
Ringu. . When Sadako crawls out of the television set at the end of the film.
I've always found The Exorcist to be far more disturbing than scary. The best Linda Blair scenes with the crucifix are just nasty as opposed to being shocking or scary.
I'll have to give that a watch. I really liked Ip Man and it got me back into watching "kung fu" movies.
I watched a couple of his others but they weren't as enjoyable. I think it was because Ip Man was a more classy film and based on a true story.
I really crave a good psychological horror. I can't remember the last one I watched. Seeing people get carved up really doesn't scare me; it's just sort of disgusting and ultimately boring.
