Ideal for those days are the B&W Carry On films ,all of them classics and much better overall than the colour era. Carry On Cabby ,my favourite -I watched it on one perfect wet Sunday a few weeks ago Bliss

Shawshank is good and always watchable - we saw it again last night, as it was on TV - the best moment clearly being the warden discovering how he escaped but its not that different to eg Clints "Escape From Alcatraz" and Brubaker is another very interesting prison movie --------- The thing...

No, not a pedant at all. Because with "spanner" the joke doesn;t work. It's "Can Pat Mustard put his enormous TOOL in my box?" THAT's funny. Spanner is not, and makes no sense, so in this case you needed to be corrected. Drink. ****. Arse. Girls.

I agree. WTC was almost a pointless film. That TV true life drama with Harvey Keitel as the former FBI and then WTC security boss was much better. United 93 is great but you have to watch it twice as it's easy to miss the names and who's doing what the first time round.

I have over 800 ex-rental VHS tapes. Most of them are released by Warner Home Video, Buena Vista, CIC Video and First Independent.

Whats that saying, if something is too good to be true it probably is? I stick to downloading only from private torrent sites that are not too easy to join. But I always check Newzbin first to see if what I am after is on usenet.

Thought I'd bump this thread in preparation for tonight :)

I had the same happen with Strictly. Why can't RAB get rid of the spoiler banner from the forums? :( My Sky signal cut out earlier this year over Eurovision weekend. I'd have gone mental, but thankfully I was a frienRAB' place 150 miles away! It's not unreasonable to worry about it...

I see the level of debate is this thread has descended into the lowest possible tier, personal attacks using sarcasm. At the risk of being assaulted verbally myself I shall join the discussion. I liked the first two episodes. I admit there is little new in there, but if you trawl through the...
