    Black Label Society

Randy RhoaRAB was more versatile, but I've seldom seen a guitarist who can shred pentatonics like Zakk can, and as clean as Zakk can. Plus if you watch his chicken pickin' and bluesy stuff, you'll gain a bit more respect for him. Plus that vid you posted was in 89, he's obviously improved leaps...

    Chevelle: Best Record

Everything they've done is the best thing they've done, don't make me choose! Chevelle are easily the most brilliant band making music today. I love the painful honest vocals, the hard guitars, the breathtakingly poignant lyrics that echo pain in a way unseen since Daniel Johnston and Ian...

    Metallica

a couple points... 1. The thing about the Beatles is, most would argue they got better with the change. (I know I would.) Pop has always been a tough genre to be the best in because the goal is to be as appealing as possible to the most people. And I have to commend the Beatles for doing that...

Does metal require anger and power?

I just thought about this...and the metal I listen to doens't make me angry...it just makes me want to kick ass or something...not necessarily kick ass out of anger, more like a football kind of kicking ass. That or do something really awesome...like jump a creek with a bike or something. So in...
