Season 8 was the last "excellent" season. Season 9 was the last "great" season. Season 10 was the last "good" season. Seasons 11-20 are hit and miss. Simpsons had a good 10 years at least.

Nick Movies wanted to put a Britney Spears song in the movie and Smith said no. As I am told from some people in the know. I believe Jeff Smith was supposed to co-direct the oringal film version at Nick. Jeff owns Characher Builders in Columbus,Ohio who did work on Space Jam and some commerials.

The theme song is beyond weird. Never quite heard something like it on a SatAM show. The title doesn't really give me a lot of hope for the actual show, though.

If you're asking me, I'd say there was no point in making Shrek 2. But if you're asking Dreamworks, they still want to make money off of the Shrek franchise, and that's reason enough in Hollywood.
