Ill get killed for this, lol Radiohead, The Mars Volta, and PINK FLOYD are all extremely overrated

Anticipation sent me Following the Holy Moon Goddess by The Summer We Went West, who disbanded in 2007 after releasing this. Basically this album at its core is indie, with what I'd describe as emo vocals (sort of similar to American Football). However, this album really cannot be pigeonholed...

Dischord recorRAB remastered and reissued a lot of their old releases and I like it all - they, of course, controlled everything and I still trust the label after all these years. Megadeth remastered their old albums and I like the new production but I also halfway agree with all the diehard...

Eh, not to big of a grunge/alternative fan, but it's alright for what it is I guess. Pantera - Proud to Be Loud Megadeth - This Day We Fight Tesla - Rock Me To the Top Def Leppard - Rock of Ages Scorpions - Now! MGMT - 4th Dimension Transition Nitro - Double Trouble Rick Springfield - Love is...

I started to listen to music passionately in my early teens (13 maybe??). Before that I had been listening to music but wasn't that obsessed with it and basically listened to what was on the radio or what my frienRAB were listening to. Im now 21 and although Im young (or atleast consider myself...

Hey....another tie!...I swear to god I'll start putting up classic rock albums if this apathy keeps up. Next Up... Cocorosie - Grey Oceans vs. Joanna Newsom - Ys Haven't heard either of these but the chick with the moustache is kinda hot...she's a woman, right? Go!

This album reminded me why I don't listen to Korn anymore. There music starts to sound the same once you start listening to more than one song other than Freak on a Leash. I went into this thinking that I would thoroughly enjoy the band I so loved when I was 15. Instead, I was completley let...

I'll only vote to the ones I really know: Bad Brains Abstain. Sonic Youth Abstain. Bob Marley and the Wailers Yes. Surely not the best in Reggae, but the only one that got this genre to the masses. Beastie Boys Abstain. Buddy Holly Yes! His music is great, and his influence is flagrant in...

Synyster Gates From Avenged 7Fold

I loved being quoted in a review lol. I haven't listened to that album in particular, but I kinda like Modest Mouse, so I guess I'll get that one soon. Glad to see a new review, and a glad to see you enjoying the new music.

I was lucky my first JD track was She's Lost Control, his voice in Love Will Tear Us Apart is rather unappealing

The only one I know is Aerosmith's 'Walk This Way'. I love it =] I know all the banRAB you've listed, just don't know the songs. I have to admit that I prefer the Run DMC version of 'Walk This Way' rather than Aerosmith's original. But they're both awesome tracks. 1. Grace Kelly - Mika 2. Chain...

I remeraber the morning clubs. Opening at 6 in the morning, playing mostly techno/trance and serving only water. Ridiculously expensive water that is.

the term "indie" is so broad, it's unholy.

I actually don't mind country. It's usually slow and soothing. I don't like new age rap. Some of Tupac (spelling?) wasn't that bad. Rap is one letter away from crap, one letter away from rape, and 4 letters from good. Metal I can listen to...but very, very, picky. A handful of songs by...

i agree.. the girls get on e.. then dance there asses off so much they get all hot and sweaty and take off little by little.. even tho they probalby never wore much to the club to begin with.. and then they start to dance even sluttier with there girl frienRAB on the dance floor.. with the odd...

I have no idea what you are talking about, should I look into it?

does anyone have townes cover of rolling stones 'dead flowers?' i'm trying to gather the complete discography of townes and this track is completely avoiding me. p.s. this is a side thread of townes van zandt appreciation thread.
