2012 would be quite apt I should think. It'd be nice to see it re-released. I agree about it having a timeless quality btw - I was thinking the same myself recently. You'd hardly think it'd been 12 or 13 years since it was released.

film is nowhere near as good as the series, lots of characters (like James McAvoy's) get cut and such (but that's going to happen anyway) it is a good film, but the tv series is much, much better

Alison Anders, who has directed Sex and the City and 'The L Word' made a brilliant film called 'Mi Vida Loca' (My Crazy Life) in 1994 which is never shown on TV but is absolutely brilliant. It's about hispanic girl gangs in LA. It's only available as a US import on DVD too.

I saw this yesterday. I admit I'm a long-time fan of Gilliam's work but I was blown away by it. Worth seeing for the special effects alone.

Gazelle is the best possible code for a music tracker, I'm not sure what you're talking about. The closest way to grouping torrents in TBDev is to make a similar torrents field with a (flawed) automatic search for alternative qualities. Sticking to gazelle is the one thing they should keep doing.

The two key sequences in Don't Look Now, one near the beginning of the film, the other near the end. I don't want to give away what happens, all I will say is that they are both sensational pieces of filmmaking. :)
