    Aliens, god knows how many times i've watched it but it must at least be approaching 100 times, if not more. Followed by Terminator 2 and then probably the first two Die Hard movies (Christmas Eve just isn't the same without a double Die Hard bonanza! :D).

    John Carpenter's The Thing.

    No they don't! It was kind of last in the line of the "schlock horror" genre, and one of the most intelligent and witty examples. The use of floor effects rather than CGI also add to its power IMO. You can't help marvelling at the inventiveness of the special effects - some guy(s) had to come up...
