Watched the first episode just now and it was alright. Nothing spectacular, except maybe the animation. Lighthearted, funny and some interesting ideas overall. I will keep watching and see what happens from here and hope they can keep up the good work.

That Kalmah song came out in 2002. As with most CoF I find that I'd enjoy it more without the metal. I'll give it a 7/10 as its some of CoF's better material and they're sort of a guilty pleasure. Mithotyn are pretty epic. tDvHOei1e94

To go along with that, there are some rather impressive names behind Basquash. It was created by Shoji Kawamori and Thomas Romain with the animation being done by Satelight. I really don't think anyone should write this show off just for being about giant mechs that play basketball.
