    The Official Nirvana/Kurt Cobain Thread

I think Kurt Cobain put it better than anyone else here, and also might explain where he would be right now "It's better to burn out, than fade away." so there you have it, he would rather just go away rather than still makeing music and no one listening to it.:hphones:

    The Official David Bowie Thread

In my opinion, the 70's were his best years. The compilation album "ChangesOneBowie" includes virtually all of his biggest hits from 1969 through 1976. Anyone who's not familiar with Bowie's music from that period, should definitely check it out: Side one 1. "Space Oddity" (from Space...

Current Bands we will be talking about in 25yrs

I'm talking about music lovers. I think he'll wind up the future equivalent of someone like Sun Ra, especially considering how prolific he is. Guessing who the general public is going to be talking about is easy: no one. People who aren't music buRAB don't really sit around talking music in the...

    Sparta

Sparta's amazing. The first time I listened to them I didn't think much of them. Then I saw them live and it was a done deal. I'm a fan for life. As for comparing them to Mars Volta. . . I think I like Mars Volta and Sparta equally. But I definitely like ATDI more than Sparta. Omar Rodriguez -...
