Personally, I found it almost unwatchable. As a curio for film buRAB, it's fine, but as a standalone film, it doesn't work well at all.

Sorry, I'm not sure of we're talking at cross-purposes here. I think we're in agreement: The System was a good piece of TV. I'm just saying that I think he also bent the rules a bit in that one, as I really do doubt it's possible to actually pull off. In that instance I think it's okay...

pretty much, i couldnt be bothered to watch it all the way through to be honest, was so boring

I thought Thomas was rebuffed as he was helping him get dressed before dinner. So he had all the time from then until he gave him the tea and showed him to Mary's room quite some time after dinner.

There is no bad students, but only bad teachers ! Nowadays, maybe the major problem of the BT is the education of "the average member". BT looks like a "McDonald", where the people come, take what they want, and go ! You just have to look at how many people pushed the "thanks button" or let a...

Well maybe you do rightly say that the Bond books were written differently and I'd then be forced to agree. My ignorance is born out of the fact that I haven't actually read any of Ian Fleming's books. And if they are so different then I am going to find them alien to everything that I've...

Ha Ha I was going to suggest that also. I know what the OP means though, new age horror is all very samey samey. How many films have been made of the back of Saw and Hostel? I honestly can't think of one. Not within the last 2 years at least anyway:( Oh yes one that I found quite different and...

Quick, Thrilling and Expensive - that's the answer. Hanging down from a powerful missile that's just about to be fired into a building .... Art Malik in True Lies.

I love 'Hedwig's theme'.....it's iconical of Harry Potter imo. If that makes any sense at all....it did in my head lol :D You know what I mean. I was listening to a bit of the OotP soundtrack before and the music is just beautiful! :):)

First Ginger Geek disappeared and now bramly. I'm worried that "The Authority" has stepped in and 'deleted' them. Were they getting too close to the truth!?! Dizzy, barricade the doors :D

 Its only a trailer!

I suspect the BBC will stick to the strategy that has been serving them well over the past couple of years on the three main Christmas days: Christmas Eve: Comedy. My Family has been there for the past couple of years and performed solidly. Victoria Wood's (awful) special did well there last...

I agree with this and itt made me realise that what the street is missing out on is a strong female bulldog type. In the early days the women were always the strongest characters but we seem to have been taken over by wimpy men and teenagers. It needs another Ena Elsie or Blanche. Brilliant...
