Hi Soz et. al I guess any bike is subject to ...subjectivity. Of course the 916 is dated next to a 1098. Power wise etc. I also guess a Smart Imola 750 is also dated compared to a 750R etc. The 1098 is an awesome bike - no question. BUT, Add 15 years and it will be an overweight slug. Who cares...

CSI, Thanks for the input. Most of my riding is also straight down the lane. I do like the feel of the Venoms on my FLT. I thought on the way home today that I would put Venoms on the Ultra but then I saw the Cobras and new and improved is better, right? Also a bit more $$
