Tages - Contrast More people should listen to this band. This is the first of two albums this Swedish psychedelic pop/rock band put out in 1967 (their 4th overall, according to RYM, though earlier ones may have been comps). The second LP of that year (and their final), Studio, is a real gem...

zeppelin or hendrix id say. because they both contributed in changing the sound of rock music forever.

Actually, I just recently watched the movie, myself, and now I kind of wish that I had read the manga, first. I mean, I liked most of what I saw in the movie (especially the animation, which is still some of the best "animation" that I have seen in an anime, despite the movie being 20 years old...

I think Blinks drummer is pretty good... I always forget his name!

Screaming Tree's were around before either band, for a start.

Not true, people send me stuff often from artists I've never heard from and I tend to like it, perhaps because they have an idea of what my taste is. You're making a proconception about how I judge music just because I don't quite open up about everything regarding my tastes. Mostly as a...

You based an anime on its opening? That's just ridiculous. Most of the openings never actually happens in the show. An opening is just something to pay the bills to make the anime.

55. Explosions in the Sky "Those Who Tell the Truth Shall Die, Those Who Tell the Truth Shall Live Forever " This album is my favorite Explosions in the Sky album. I think its their most powerful with its marching drums, it always brings up images of war for me. I had been reading Stalingrad...

Haven't read through all of the thread, but has anyone mentioned Dolly Parton's "Me and Little Andy"? What a tearjerker. :( Sarah McLachlan's "Angel' is rather sad and gloomy- but there's also a strange, beautiful quality to it.

The group that causes me to reach for the radio dial that fastest is Nickelback.

Ah yes, the random list poster... indeed a unique and somewhat enigmatic person in the world of the music forum... we know WHAT this poster likes, yet, we never quite get WHY... indeed, an enigma...

EPISODE 13: "Dragomon's Cry" Previously: Some really stupid stuff happened that did nothing to advance the plot and the only real good thing about it was Sora's tennis outfit. Moving right along.... EDIT: Forgot to put the review Ah, yes, the beginning of the Dark Ocean. A part of the story...

Since when where they a christian band?

I hate to confess but I actually memorized that song. It's just...so addicting (ikuze 3, 2, 1 Make Some Noise!) Too bad the music video for it was pretty bad (was that Steven Blum at the beginning and ending?)
