Me too. Love Elliott Smith but couldn't say the same for Jeff Buckley.

What? He has a great voice. And I have no idea what you mean by the music having no effort, that's bull****. EDIT:To booboo And you decide to not take my opinion seriously because I like a band you don't. Boo ****ing hoo. You make immature rant threaRAB that mean nothing and only serve the...

Probably my favorite song of theirs. The mere switch from the quiet rurabling of strings to the absolute catharsis of the screams is one of my favorite moments in a screamo song, bar none. qYDrkG2EGwg edit well THIS is awkward.

notice the strategic placement of the hotdogs...

well scarlett johansson just put out an album so i believe that puts an end to this conversation

Yeah, same here. I'm not being pretentious I just have no interest in any of these award ceremonies and think they are so ridiculous. No artists who are actually worthy are ever included even in the nominations and I just find it all very silly and pointless. Blah blah blah I know you've heard...

underrated : Explosions in the Sky

I agree. Later Beatles is very limited in terms of real moments of raw passion. Harrison contributed a few of the more soulful tracks. You always do get the general feeling that McCartney is all about polish even from the early days. Lennon in some ways was probably the most sincere in terms of...

I have a load of vinyl stashed away somewhere. I`d love to have my whole collection in just vinyl just to see what it looks like. I miss great big huge gatefold album sleeves. I have a Nirvana/Jesus Lizard split single on blue vinyl , saw it going on ebay for 100 quid. I bought mine for 1.50.

Belle and Sebastian Twee pop band Belle and Sebastian have been compared to The Smiths and Nick Drake (Bryter Layter i'm assuming) and have been called the greatest Scottish band ever (which is true). Fronted by genius Stuart Murdoch they create sexy songs with clever lyrics and before you...

Might ruffle a few feathers with this one, but I feel that Bob Dylan is a truly awful singer... perhaps a great lyricist, tunesmith, whatever.... but he didn't have a great voice... Now let the slegding of scottsy begin...

I've got 2 external HRAB and just bought a duel disc 750 gig per disc one. I don't think i'll be losing my collection in a hurry.

Music isn't just 'melody'. You'd have to do a lot of generalizing to narrow it down to just a melody. Brilliant music is made without focus on 'melodies', that doesn't mean it isn't worth somebody's time.

Good job Savannah. @USed2lguy: I didn't like 54% of your choices, those were just the ones I didn't think were totally horrible and ridiculous.

Thats the point , it`s a charity record. If Girls Aloud want to make money for charity I suggest making a 2008 calendar in association with Anne Summers :D

Well people are raped all the time too and nobody argues that thats not distasteful. Its just my opinion. w/e.
