Riiiiight.... Okay. I guess there we differ. It felt like having a movie where a baby became an adult in 5 years. It simply didn't make sense. In any fantasy/sci fi setting - artsy, action or otherwise - for it to work you have to stick to your own rules of how the "universe" you've set up...

I love the series of books but i really cant see the story working on screen. I think the story is to big and the whole switching between different worlRAB and times could be hugely confusing for anybody who has'nt read the books. As a fan of the books i really DONT want to see this on screen.

Cox ( marvellous actor though he is) is not in the same league as Hopkins in SOTL.

as other people have said either of the Transformers films, Dark Knight looks quality in Blu-Ray and another one of my choices would be Australia that was a good transfer

I'm not arguing that. I know a couple of them have posted in here stating that they were cp pictures, but the fact is they didn't post them. He was no longer staff there, just merely a consultant and founder of the site... the idea, I guess you could say. But he's not there for the day-to-day...

The first time I saw this film I didnt really like it. The 2nd time I ,liked it The 3rd time I LOVED it. I consider it a classic... not a comfortable viewing, but a great film nevertheless. I thought the twist was silly btw...:o

I much prefer orchestral scores than soundtracks.I listen to the LOTR scores all the time but I have loaRAB of film scores in my CD collection, the last Star Trek score being the favourite of my recent purchases. I'm off to see The Two Towers at the Albert Hall on april 23rd and I can't wait :D

Yeah same with me as if you look back I was the 6th person to post on this thread way before Heath Ledger had even been cast as The Joker. Its been a long wait to this film but I cant wait for next thursday to see it and I just hope it lives up to all the hype!
