"Star Wars: The Clone Wars" Feature Talkback (Spoilers)

I find it sort of amusing that the series is about a future murderer and his future victims pal-ing around with each other. I mean, we all KNOW what's going to happen. Anakin will become a traitor, aiding in the deaths of all his friends and allies who loved and trusted in him. He becomes a...

Thanks Camsky, I have downloaded PowerDigi and installed it. It seems to be very nice But it does not solve the problem. The problem must be hardware. The lower left part of the touchscreen keeps erratic reponse to the grafiti. Best Daniel

What will become of Saturday Mornings in 2009?

^ Isn't that another shonen show with cheap CGI dinosaurs living in an anime and who get upgrades from power-boosting play cards like Yu-Gi-Oh and Yu-Gi-Oh GX? At let us not forget Dual Masters, the recycled version of Yu-Gi-Oh and 'Pokemon. *sigh* 2009 is going to bite for animation.

    Female Toons Hardly Get Hurt

Yeah, Videl got beat up by Spopovich I believe. That scene got heavily edited in the TV dub though. Silverstar pretty much hit the nail on the head here. It is generally about violence against women that society sees as a disturbing thing. TV execs and most viewers would consider seeing...

Can 4kids really compete with Disney, Nick, and CN?

To answer the title question, can 4Kids compete with the Big Three? No. 4Kids has been at the right place at the right time when two of kid-vid's biggest brands, Fox Kids and Kids' WB!, went down for the count. They've been lucky to have properties they've harnessed into brand names...

Shows you hated but later liked.

Flapjack... I remember seeing the last 30 seconds of the sneak peeks they aired in early 2008 prior to new episodes of Foster's. My first impression was that it was quite possibly the vilest, most disgusting thing I've ever seen from a children's network, and that Cartoon Network had actually...

"The Simpsons is still better than most"- Valid?

There's also the phenomenon of episodes that seemed bad when they were new aren't as bad in reruns. There've been many times when I watch a season 14-18 episode again and think, "Wow, I hated this?" That's not to say that they become GOOD, but less offensively bad, and I can focus on the...

The "cartoons are for kids" mentality: does it really exist?

If anyone catches you watching cartoons, say what I did when I got criticized for reading a Pokemon guide, "A book doesn't have to be pornographic to be good". The person giving the critical comment couldn't say anything more than "true".
