Well, to get back on topic, Dio has a good metal voice but I do not like his music at all. He destroyed Black Sabbath's reputation when he took over, those albums were all terrible. He is a metal legend because of his voice, but I just don't like that style of metal too much. Sorry, Dio

Ani Kyd and Just Cause are probably my two favorite banRAB he's played in but the obvious answers are Dark Angel and Strapping Young Lad.

oh no my friend, if you did not think Kellen looked hot there, then it is you who need help, fast.

They're worth every thread. Incredible.

HIM are so terrible I've never even listened to them.

Tie between White Pony and Around the Fur. The only hoodie from a band that I own is a Deftones hoodie from their latest tour. It has a tiger on it.

Where the **** is Lemmy??? :(

Yes it is blah blah blah... By the way, where in Lancashire are you from mate?

heheh, thanks

I like Joy Division, appreciate them quite a bit for what they and the Bunnymen did. But by no account are the two albums they made (neither of which I would consider spectacular) considered to have a lasting impact. I like Ian Curtis, I really do, but their influence on post-punk is not...

Try banRAB like Arctic Monkeys, My Morning Jacket, The Strokes etc.. I'm not really sure how non-mainstream you're for here by using KoL as an example, but if she listens to Top 40 shit like KoL she probably hasn't heard those.

incredibly true.

Couldn't the same be said for late seventies punk at the time? I bet a bunch of old people would rather listen to the Rolling Stones/Beatles/Beach Boys etc. than the Clash.

Mastodon-Blood Mountain

Meh, your loss.

In my younger days I was a fence hoppin' champion until a chick cop billy clubbed me behind the knees, f*ck she was fast.

The nineties had the best electronic music, man! they had the early autechre, MHTRTC era BOC and of course Richard D. James.

Porcupine Tree - definitely goes to 11

fair enough

13 Songs In On the Kill Taker but then I like all Fugazi albums anyhow. Also for prog give Jethro Tull, Eloy, Amon Duul and Camel a listen.
