Just back from seeing it, thought it was pretty good, nothing spectacular, but still quite enjoyable with some good laugh out loud scenes. You could tell it was a Warner Bros. film though... "Harry Potter" DVD's and posters were referenced several times at the start and later at the themed...

Uh-oh, just saw the trailer on youtube. Filled with CGI. That makes a film null and void. F*ck watching that then. I'll stick to the original. F*cking Hollywood ruin everything and dissapoint you everytime.

I just saw this film on DVD (16 months after this thread was started!) I thought it was a pretty good remake, but it lacked something the original had - not sure what though.

Hi Mahuika, Stop getting so worried. You most likely do not have parkinsons disease. You claim that you have brain tremors, if you had parkinsons then parts of your body would be twitching. I would certainly look at your medications, although you did mention that you though your brain...

I got the DVD and just watched it last night. It was very enjoyable, a well made movie I thought :) v. amusing watching Dick Van Dyke dancing at the end during the credits :D I wasn't too keen on Ricky Gervais in it, I don't know he didn't seem to fit in this particular movie, I guess like other...
