One of my favourites also. Great cast, photography, music score, and direction from John Ford.

Oh dear, Richard Griffiths not happy about possible W&I stage play... http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/5407768.stm Fork it! (Hello fellow W&I fanatics, yes I do pop my head out from the RAB:BB site occasionally!)

Rendition.

I liked it but I am ashamed that I liked anything involving Ricky, so I will keep it quiet from my frienRAB who would equally be ashamed.

They still creep me out now and I was kid in those days too:eek::eek::eek:

Very good - don't forget that it's late friday but technically early saturday if you are using a VCR - make sure you get the right day when you program the time in, or try and use VideoPlus+ :)

The alien was trying to poison him but because of his asthma his lungs were closed and so he wasn't affected. I think it was the things that were wrong in his life and hated God for turned out to save his family.

They have gone crazy with marketing in the US. it will be here soon too. Aldous's myspace (russell) - he actually has a good voice! http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=349172265

I like the ridiculous one

Thats because its a German/US co-funded production :) I actually thought it was a brilliant film!

Hopefully it's repeated soon. I asked about it months ago, but then didn't spot F4 showing it on 1st May. Whilst googling, I see that Cronenburg is remaking it with Tom Cruise. Oh dear.

The Hills have eyes remake (is it out on blu-ray)

I'm not sure when it's wide released. I know in the States it's only going to initially start in a few cities (LA , NY, San Francisco, Chicago) but perhaps wide(r) release after the New Year. Unfortunately it may be directed straight to the art houses in most cities and not at your local...

I can't help but notice that a lot of people gushing about this (in this forum and elsewhere) are female. Not all, but certainly more than 50%. Does the film perhaps 'connect' more with females than males for some reason? Is there some sexual chemistry at work here? Are there any psychologists...

Matthew the Cheerleader! (sadly they didn't pick Kirsty for this one!) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RgpQc--ZYME

Oh my, so many to choose from. I would probably have to go for Dog Day Afternoon also, with City Hall coming up a close second. (I notice how no-one has gone for Dick Tracy yet. Wonder why?)

1) Raiders of the Lost Ark 2) Boogie Nights 3) Summer of Sam 4) Goodfellas 5) Election (1999) Quite an eclectic choice there I think!
