What's wrong with test audiences? Are they all incurable optimists or something? It seems all too often a better (usually bleaker) ending has been replaced by something happier that fails to sit well with the rest of the film because test audience didn't like the original. The swines!

South Park the movie was up there with the best SP episodes in terms of laughs and quality. If Simpsons the movie comes close to being up there with some of the classic simpson episodes, it will be an enjoyable 1:30-2 hours :) Hopefully it will not be as sterile as some of the more recent...
