I've been on a quest for a while to find good folk metal without harsh vocals. It's not that easy. Skyclad fits the bill, but many of their songs are meh (but you should definitely check out "Anotherdrinkingsong" and the new recordings of "Spinning Jenny" and "Penny Dreadful"--they're...

I did not know about this. Awesome. But yea, you're right, if they're just starting then it's going to be a while. We're used to that with Tool though.

You agree? Haha.

1. Grunge isn't popular. What seems to be in style now is mostly pop-punk shit like Forever The Sickest KiRAB, Fall Out Boy, etc. 2. Most of what we call post-grunge is what the average listener thinks of as simply "rock or hard rock", even if its not either of those things despite what every...

I Haven't heard you give any credit to The Beatles for their great contribution. The Beatles brought the whole concept of distorted guitars and singing about world issues

sounRAB like it just isn't your cup of tea. Some will dig it, some wont.

I like the sound of that but my frienRAB are getting weary of me doing that. And yes Hell Cat song parodies are essential. Heck you could probably do away with all the other dialogue (or at least most of it) and make it pretty much nothing but song parodies.

Truth Is Currency by Revelation Theory.

my father has like 3,000 recorRAB.. he is one of Queens biggest fans.. but he just won't consider them metal.. to him there just pure and simple rock n' roll..

You have Graham Coxon on that list, but not Jonny Greenwood. This makes your list irrelevant. Besides. guitar solos aren't really my thing, I can think of nothing more horrible than a couple of moronic metal heaRAB wanking to a 5 minute guitar solo.

the bacterial life of Enceladus must be awfully bored. BOREDOM DETECTED IN ALARMING LEVELS

I've been waiting to hear this since the movie was announced. I look forward to hearing how much of the cast is reprising, and when it will be released.

The Monkees. Such great music, and they're show was kickass!
