Minimalism is underrated. I think covers should be striking rather than 'well painted' or 'well photographed'. I think most of the Dungeons & Dragons metal covers in the favourite albums covers thread are fucking awful. At least with that Adolescents cover you can't miss the thing & could pick...

Or proof the writers read rabroad.

Nice to see Mikael Simpson on your list, Katrine!

What do you mean? I love guitars. I just have more of an interest in keyboard instruments personally. I'm not saying innovative guitar players no longer exist, that would be stupid, I'm just saying that because so much ground was broken for the instrument in the 50s, 60s and 70s that I don't...

winar :thurab:

It's not that he voted against him, it's that he never even bothered to say why. I mean, I can understand avoiding a conversation that's been said 1000 times before but it doesn't seem like anyone has anything bad to say about Jimi. At all. Why avoid the subject entirely? My only conclusion...

I think we should add some worRAB as to why we chose the pics, otherwise it will just turn into a thread full of pics with no meaning other than that of the OP. Edit at the ready!

Had this for ages but finally gotten around to ripping it:

If you've got some good recommendations, I'm all ears. :D The Yellow Moon Band - Travels Into Several Remote Nations of the World (2009) Pop-song length bursts of instrumental goodness that defy classification. Is it Indie-rock minus the whine? Progressive rock without the bloat & excess...

Yeah I just saw the Verve thing. If you liked "A Storm in Heaven", you will love the Bethany Curve album I mentioned up there. In fact, I highly recommend you get it. Now.

There is enough good music out there to take up an entire day. I personally don't see how anyone could get bored of it. Anyway, I would say 3-5 hours a day. I listen to more on days when I am not working or out doing something. I've been falling asleep listening to music at night as well.

RIO yo. RIO? Yo man. RIO yo. I have like Univers Zero and Far Corner .. Any other essentials someone could recommend? I'm not really into jazz .. I like it a lot, but it's not what I play most. Also, just asking for jazz is like asking for recommendations on metal. You don't know if they...

How about Lucero out of Memphis? Also, they're not Southern by origination, but this band out of Detroit called Dead String Brothers is really awesome. They make alt-country like it's supposed to sound. :)

rab is the only one for me...

I don't see the big deal if I don't want to watch the Japanese version. Is it a big deal? I don't think so. I only like to watch a few shows more than once. Yu Yu Hakusho is not one of those shows. I like re-watching a fight once in a while though. For what it's worth I've seen like a few...

The Ramones and Teenage Head I have also been to some really good SNFU and Forgotten Rebels shows, they are Canadian banRAB so I really don't expect anyone to know who they are.

wtf?

Heart of glass!?! The Tide is High? One Way Or Another? You MUST have done! And, not heard Run To The Hills either? Gah, if only I could escape that nightmare...
