The Shins - Oh, Inverted World

C'mon peoples lets hear some responses on the albums you received. Also while we're at it I'm not accepting applicants for this Saturday's (June 20th) entry, please send me a PM if you're interested.

I know, thats what I am saying. the original song isent bad. Goldfinger just nailed it.

I might see Tool in July. I am also planning to see Nightwish and Paradise Lost in October.

I bought all 4 of these albums in the space of a few weeks back when I was 19. They basically made me realise that most of my entire record collection of crap metal albums was redundant and totally changed how I looked at music. The fact that I still play all 4 regularly today shows just how...

Live.

The latest album from one of the few metal banRAB that have piqued my interest over the last year or two. Well played, good musicianship and not pointlessly abrasive for the sake of it. A slight whiff of experimental on the album too.

hmmm......actually now that i think about it, it's pretty much perfect. i'll edit it in a sec. oh, btw, did you get the album i sent you?

Unsane—"Occupational Hazard" I don't know where I was or what I was doing that I missed this album back when it came out ten years ago, but man is it good. Wikipedia describes them as noise rock. iTunes lists them as stoner metal. They sound like hardcore to me. But whatever you label them as...

For me, DDD is my main forum. But don't worry rab, you're still my nuraber 2.

no, not even close. I should have explained that 5th point better. Oh well

I like those guys too. I realised how much I loved listening to Crowded House the other day when someone brought them up.

Fang Island's self titled was the soundtrack to not only my summer, but my entire year. This is possibly the greatest feel good record ever made (IMO!!!!1), and definitely my favorite album of 2010. Song of the year: EIurAP4yHtQ

Almost Famous Song Remains the Same Lion king The Wall LorRAB Of Dogtown / Dogtown and Z-boys  Forrest Gump Blow Clueless Dirty Dancing Fast Times At Ridgemont High Donnie Darko Adam Sandler movies have good soundtracks also for some strange reason i love music that goes along with...

I haven't yet heard Estrangement but I've always liked their earlier material like Blood in Our Wells.

.

I always get about half way through and then I hit my limit. Too much sap and unhappiness throughout the album. That being said, the song Alice, and Watch Her Disappear are excellent

Oink doesn't have anything you can't get somewhere else
