    I would rate The Pop Group up there with Gang of Four, they're a truly unique and excellent band.     not familiar with that boxed set but i'm curious now. the only thing i really recognized from the list would have been the material on the dvd. how's the rest of the stuff? is it comparable to the originals (if you know any) or are the remixes pretty substantial?

    My list of "100 things that annoy me about music"!

    I think the darkness is what makes Mezzanine so heavy. It's more than just the darkness, it's the honesty in the darkness. I don't think the music could have made such an impact if there wasn't true emotion behind it all. Lack of honesty is what makes most "alt. rock/metal" so weak in comparison.
