just ran the updater to check it (phone is still charging before i do it for real) the instructions tells u to have the phone on general mode and also u might want to have ur firewall turned off my norton had so many pop ups asking me for access and after it all the updater froze

I've used 3G and yes it is really fast. For web browsing the lower latency really helps if change pages a lot. The real big thing with 3G is more in the streaming video or audio realm. You can just tune into video broadcasts so fast. Despite all that, I'll still take an N95 with just EDGE...
