NIN aren't very good on the whole

NIN are awesome! All of their albums have plenty of gems (not so much the remix albums) The new album "Year Zero" comes out in April. Here are some sparkling gems that come to mind. Pretty Hate Machine: Head like a hole Terrible Lie Something I can never have Ringfinger Broken: Wish Happiness...

    Bad yet Good Lead Singers....

If you mean Bon Scott i disagree , I heard the band he was in before AC/DC (The Valentines) and his voice was the only decent thing about them. If you mean Brian Johnson he was in a band called Geordie in the 70s who released a string of album throughout that decade and had several top 10 hit...

    Best singer of all time

come on now don't be nasty i'm not their biggest fan either but Green Day build a foundation for fans to get into heavier music which can only be a good thing if people appreciate better music There are worse banRAB around ie McFly or the hideous Son Of Dork "shivers"

Last album you bought or downloaded

^ I'm not so sure yet. Yes, Revelations itself is a good song, along with the last 3 and some of the others, but it lacks something for me, it's as if they just decided to lump a load of stuff they could just make up like that on it just for the sake of getting another album out, without...

What band got you really into music

My claim to fame is having an email conversation with his producer Tony Visconti (as in more than some copy-and-paste/half-arsed reply) and knowing some bloke who's talked to the man himself in the BowieNet chatroom :D

    Albums You're Digging II

I've been putting off getting into these guys for a while now. For those that don't know this is the side project of bassist Chris Wood, of Medeski, Martin, and wood, and his brother Oliver wood on slide Dobro. and acoustic guitar. The end product of the collaboration is a soulful blues that...

    Albums You're Digging II

Melvins - Ozma Mmm tasty. I just played this one (their second album) for the first time and liked it better than Gluey Porch Treatments (their debut) that I played last week for the first time. I guess this one was a bit more immediate and less sludgy. More fun.
