I agree with you. I only got one of the uncut Yu-Gi-Oh! DVRAB, as a gift, and I really didn't like watching the uncut dub. The voices felt really flat and kind of off when they read some of their lines. You have a good point as to why the voice actors could have been like that since they weren't...
