Well, they were the band that got me into metal, and ever since then, I just can't stop liking them. It's not like Korn or Slipknot where you find out why they suck and then think "why did I even like them?" There's just something about Disturbed that I can't put my finger on that separates them...

Slipknot are not the worst. They've got some talent. Joey is actually a pretty good drummer, he is just stuck with some ****ty band mates, imo. I think overrall, If you're counting Limp Bizkit, then Limp Bizkit. Or Linkin Park, they're awful.
