The newest Bodom release, came out in April. I got it the day it came out, but was really caught up with school and other stuff that I didnt have much time to give it a spin. I listened to it a couple times through but that was it. The past week its been on repeat pretty much nonstop.

I've been going through a bit of an R.E.M. phase lately (badum tish) and Murmur is part of it. I love this album. This is why I consider Rob Trujillo superior to Cliff Burton. Soooooo funky. I gave the Perfect Element a listen for the first time in ages the other day and I'd forgotten...

Well, pop itself itsnt as much as a genre as a simple category, every genre has a good deal of pop elements, especialy punk rock, and most alternative rock banRAB do a have a pop sound, while managing to make something different that what is presented by the meainstream, which is pretty much...

Turn your frigging caps lock and if you knew me and read previous posts what I say about Maiden you would find that they are my favourite metal band. I just happen to dislike some albums moreso than others but guess what? I still like them all RAB. You know most people have quoted my lists...

Your writing isn't.

I felt the same way about Welcome to the NHK. Can't really get a good idea of what the show's about if there appears to be a half-naked hooker on the cover.

^ Didn't like it that much. The vocals reminded me a little of Bathory. NXDKO9v8hSc

^ No rabV Loveless? Not even an honourable mention?

I bet it was really hard narrowing this list down, although I can think of about 10 artists on the spot who suck much worse than... The Doors.

The difference is that the guys in Nirvana were fans of Killing Joke and they definitely knew the song. That's not to say I think they deliberately ripped it off, sometimes you think you just came up with something cool but it's actually that you just figured out how to play a song you already...

 Thank you Minstrel, the "Kid=Juvenile taste in music" **** gets really old

What I fear is that I got it, I just didn't like what I got. He transmits a rather strong rural and arid southern american atmosphere, am I right in saying this?

you know what i think was garbage.....nirvana!! :D i've never been that into them, i always thought they we're a bit over hyped as a grunge band and although it's not right to say they were given such fame because cobain snuffed it, i think it did contribute quite alot to the idolism he has from...

Dead Kennedys

2) Annoying threaRAB that lack content, except for single- or two word-posts I stage a coup d'thread and announce my own complaint about this forum. Although I have read a few good threaRAB, there still is a disturbing majority of threaRAB of the type "What was the latest album you bought" or...

Or just wait for the Blu-ray release, at this point. I wonder how it'll fare in the licensing arena. Probably not well if the most comparable Shaft productions are anything to go by. --Romey

RHCP - Blood Sugar Sex Magik: The album that got me into listening to music and showed me how amazing a bass guitar could be. It's still my favourite album ever and I've been playing bass for years because of it. Metallica - Ride the Lightning: The album that got me into metal and made me...
