Music Banter Hall Of Fame: Nominations Thread

That doesn't make his work any less valid. Lots of my favourite banRAB take influence from him. Why would it matter if they came out on a small label and sold about 50 copies, or came out on a major label & sold millions ? None of these issues affect the quality of the music and it would still...

Who Were The Best Bands Of 90s Britpop?

Just how many banRAB of that movement can really be described as great? Obvious nominees are Blur and Oasis. Suede started off a great band. Who else can be said to have made a really worthy contribution to music?

    The 10 Song Shuffle

You haven't been skipped this time. Not a fan of The Eagles but that song In a New York Minute puts a smile on my face. Neil Young & Crazy Horse are great. I haven't heard anything I like by Alanis Morissette. I enjoy some Green Day although I haven't listened to them in quite a long time...

    Unpopular Music Opinions

People say it's thier worst album and that the songs lack substance. It's also supposed to be hard to get into. I really liked it.

Last album you bought or downloaded

Yeah, it would be amazing to see them on tour! I take it you're A Megadeth and DT fan too. Unfortunately I haven't been to any concerts because I live in Scotland and banRAB don't seem to come here often. It really sucks. I saw a couple of tribute banRAB though which were pretty amazing...

Thank you, I'll give them a listen. I can't believe I forgot Sean Costello. He'd probably push DT out of my top 10 and go ahead of R.E.M.

Who played at the last show you went to?

My ears are still ringing from Deerhunter, and I stole a poster. They were heavy on stuff from Cryptograms, I was suprised. Vivian Girls were awesome live, I liked them better than Times New Viking last night.

    What anime's are definite sub-only?

Eh...it's not so much a hack dub as it is overloaded with very bad jokes every 2 minutes. I guess as a kid, I didn't notice but now that I'm older, it's very grating. I still think Davis' voice actor was bad. I knew there was a reason I didn't like him when I was a kid
