I found that the outside keys are easy to accidentally activate, even when I had the phone in my hip case. That was easily solved by using Free Autolock, found here: http://fuse.stc.cx/autolock/ Works as expected.

yeah if it's jittery most likely you're too far from the TV or something is producing the right IR frequency to interfere. Like the lamp that sits next to my TV, when I was playing during the day and it was off, no jitter, but at night with the lamp on, jitter.
